A gentle clean after each journey

Empty every compartment and check the care instructions supplied with your suitcase. Begin gently, without harsh products or unnecessary pressure.

01 · The outer shell

Remove loose dust with a soft cloth. For routine surface dirt, wipe gently with a clean, slightly damp cloth, then dry with a soft towel.

Avoid abrasive pads, bleach, solvents and harsh cleaning products. Do not try to polish out scratches or apply a stain remover without confirming that it is suitable for your finish.

If a mark remains, contact us before trying a stronger cleaning product.

02 · The inside

Remove loose crumbs and dust with a soft brush. Check pockets, dividers and the edges of the lining before putting the case away.

For a spill or stain, check the lining’s care instructions first. Do not assume that the lining can be removed or machine-washed. Let the interior dry completely before closing the case.

Keep liquids securely contained when packing to help prevent spills inside your luggage.

Care for the parts that move

Wheels

After travel, gently remove visible dirt, hair and thread around the wheels. Check that they turn freely before your next trip.

Lift your suitcase over stairs, kerbs and rough obstacles. If a wheel does not turn freely or feels loose, avoid forcing it and contact us for advice.

Handles

Use the fixed carrying handles when lifting your suitcase. The telescopic handle is for guiding the case while it rolls.

Retract the telescopic handle for storage and transport. If it jams or will not lock into position, avoid pulling harder or taking it apart.

Zips & locks

Keep fabric clear of the zip and close the case without force. If the sides do not meet comfortably, rearrange or reduce the contents.

Follow the instructions supplied with your lock. If you need help resetting it, send us the suitcase model and a clear photo of the lock so we can identify the correct mechanism.

BEFORE YOU CLOSE THE CASE

Give every detail room to work

Arrange belongings so the case closes naturally. Keep loose straps and clothing away from the zip, and avoid placing unnecessary pressure on the shell, handles or wheels.

Do not sit or stand on your suitcase to close it. Your airline’s baggage allowance does not tell you how much weight your suitcase can safely carry.

BETWEEN JOURNEYS

Store it clean. Store it dry.

Allow the shell and lining to dry fully before storage. Choose a dry place away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight, and retract the telescopic handle.

Avoid placing heavy items on top of the case. If you store one suitcase inside another, check that it fits without pressure on the lining, wheels or handles.

Before your next journey, check that the inside is dry and that the wheels, handles, zip and lock work properly. Contact us if anything needs attention before you pack.
